HOW TO PURCHASE A PRINT

This is the ideal way to see me and possibly buy one of my prints.

Come to my home/studio/gallery in Hamburg, NY. We are about 12 miles south of Buffalo, near Lake Erie and close to the I90 - the New York State thruway. It is a good idea to come during daylight hours.   Some of my older prints are almost gone. They are truly limited editions. Please send an email to see if I still have what you want.     email to:dmarkert@dorothymarkert

I keep many of my prints displayed throughout the first floor of our home. My husband, John has been making  my Arts and Crafts style frames for many years. They are of American hardwoods, quarter sawn oak, walnut and a few in cherry. I don't sell the frames or framed prints on the Internet as no two ever come out the same. I can't take orders for the same reason. His frames are either true mortise and tenon with contrasting pegs or lap jointed with pegs. I make so many different size prints that we need to design a specific frame for each.
I only sell frames with my own prints in them at home or in the Copper Shop in East Aurora, NY.

I also have a large cabinet full of matted prints that you would be welcome to go through and see all of my stock. I always invite any visitors to come down to our workrooms to see our work in progress.

I realize that not everyone can come to see me. That is one reason that I have my website. I check my email almost every day and I am happy to mail any of my prints to you. I have customers I have never met. Someday, I may get to see them in person.

Prints will be shipped promptly upon receipt of a check for the amount of the print  plus 10 % for shipping and insurance. My mailing address is:
Dorothy Markert
253 Maple Ave.

The print will be shipped by Priority mail and insured.
All of the prints are available at this time.
Checks will not be cashed until print has been received by you and approved.
