Wyoming Vacation
edition of 30, 2006
13" x 9", $100
We have recently returned from our annual
trip
to visit our son, Ken and his family in Cody, WY.
This print is the result of the many times I have
been there,
going to Yellowstone, the Buffalo Bill Museum, souvenir shops and
enjoying the fantastic landscape.
The flowers are Indian Paintbrush - the
state flower of Wyoming.
We saw many buffalo in Yellowstone as well as antelope and mule
deer.
The sun and the mountain ranges are represented by the triangles and
circles in the border.
The ubiquitous rodeo cowboy was on every license plate,
advertisement and sign that I saw.
The background was suggested by a rug that
I bought there years ago.
And, of course, it wouldn't be Western without the fringe.
