Screen Printing Steps a multicolor print made with one screen

I spent much of our long, hot summer working on this print
in our cool basement.

Our Winter Garden
11" x 8", 2011 - $100
edition of 25

The dark brown layer of this print is a photo silk  screen.
The rest was done with my traditional method
of painting directly on the screen.

I had taken the photograph years ago and have always loved it.
It shows our Morning Glory trellis covered with snow in our back yard.

The chicken wire is there to keep the rabbits from eating the
tender shoots in the summer time; when it is
covered by the perennials in my garden.

You can see how it was made on my blog.
Just search for Our Winter Garden.
